This type of glass is composed of at least two sheets of monolithic glass, either tempered or annealed, bonded together with PVB or SGP interlayers. The interlayer sheets provide the laminated glass with unique strength properties, allowing it to serve as a safety barrier, a walking surface, a showcase, a skylight, a security window, and more. In the event of breakage, the glass fragments remain adhered to the interlayer, helping to prevent injury from flying shards.
